The Philadelphia Police Department's Northeast Detectives Division is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect who beat and robbed an eighty two (82) year-old male in Frankford.

The incident occurred on September 3, 2013, at 9:50am, while the complainant was walking on the 5100 block of Griscom Street. As the complainant approached Dyre Street he was approached by an unknown male who sprayed him in the face with mace then began to punch and kick the complainant until he fell to the ground. After taking the complainant's money the suspect then walked east on a SEPTA access road toward the 5100 block of Frankford Avenue leaving the complainant on the ground next to a car.

Suspect Description: Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, 5'9″-6'0″, 250lbs, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
