As seen on YouTube Channels Freezer Bag Cooking and MiniBull Design, this was a simple just-add-water cornbread muffin mix, baked with an alcohol stove, using steam. I just had to try it. This first attempt was successful. I used a modified Heiny Pot (no top rim for a tighter steam seal) filled with a cup and a half of water. The bake oven was a food-grade plastic container (single-serve cottage cheese container) that sat on top of the Heiny Pot. I used a soldering iron to burn 4 holes in the lid, and 12 holes on the bottom of the plastic container. The alcohol stove was a simple breathe mint tin and a fiberglass wick insert. The alcohol stove was powered by an external fuel bottle, attached with flexible tubing and a sport ball inflation needle. (I have other videos posted here on my channel with this inflation needle idea I came up with). Bake time was 35 minutes. It took 3 and a half ounces of fuelto bake half of the 4 servings of cornbread muffin mix. Why? Just for the fun of it and to share it with you. Thanks for watching!
