A rare but serious intestinal disorder known as intussusception is most commonly seen in children less than a year old. Symptoms include abdominal pain, vomiting and bowel problems. A rotavirus vaccine was pulled from the market in 1999 because it was associated with an increased risk of the illness. A new study looks at whether or not a current rotavirus vaccine is also associated with increasing the risk of this condition. Catherine Dolf has more in this week's JAMA Report.
