This psychedelic song subverts the usual pop song structure by including a nod to the emerging prog rock genre. It is both clever and exciting and was written by the amazing Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac. It was a UK Top 10 song. This early incarnation of The Substitutes included Mick Hamilton (ex The Vibrants) on lead guitar and vocals with the formidable Michael Stranges on drums and Pete Robinson on bass. The spoken introduction is by Peter Xeni who organised a special Ormond Hall '60s celebration concert.
