Every day hundreds of planes crisscross the sky to link Europe and America. It's mainly above the Atlantic, where the new technology of "virtual radar" can improve and bring greater efficiency whilst providing solutions which are environmentally friendly.

Learn more about virtual radar, the automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B), a surveillance technique and related procedures such as ITP in this latest edition of Fly.
