The automated manufacturing system seen in this video features a gantry-style robot with vision system serving three Makino horizontal machining centers. The robot provides rapid part transfer between the horizontal machining centers and part stockers, locating parts with 3-D vision technology. Its end-of-arm tooling features a deburr function of completed parts and a vacuum to remove slip sheets between part layers on the skids.
