Preble Street is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Maine, that provides accessible barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty and advocates for solutions to those problems.
This is a look back at its growth and development since 1975, made from 20 interviews with former and current staff members and supporters of Preble Street.
