Windows 7 has 2 forms of backup, file based into a bunch of .zip files that you can browse and select individual files- directories, great if you don't have everything on 1 partition (Operating system and Data Files (i.e. Music, Pictures, Documents, Recorded TV shows)
I keep my Data and OS separate so I use a combination of the 2 backups.. Image based for the Operating system, and the file based for everythiing else..
The File Based Backup is incremental BUTa new Full backup is done every 14 Days.
This is a lot more options than was available under Windows XP with its unmanageable backup files.
