Travel with the Bay Area Youth Harp Ensemble through an ancient Redwood forest and share our wonder and reverence for these awe-inspiring trees.
If you wish to experience these forests in person, learn more at http://www.humboldtredwoods.org. Consider making a donation to support the worthwhile work of this organization.
The music, titled “Into the Forest” was composed by Sylvia Woods and played by these amazing young women on a rainbow of Harpsicles by Rees Harps Inc. Filming took place in the Humboldt Redwoods of Northern California.
The Multicultural Music Fellowship would like to thank:
Sylvia Woods for the use of her composition, "Into the Forest"
Micha Dunston and Denna Osmundson of Triple Spiral Productions for the filming and editing (and more!) of this video
Lou Judson of Intuitive Audio for recording our track
Ben Leinbach of Old Bull Productions for sound editing
Rees Harps, Inc. for the tone, portability, and sturdy construction of all of their Harpsicle harps, and their generous donation of three beautiful Harpsicle harps for us to play on tour! Please visit them at http://harpsicle-harps.com
Lyrinda Snyderman, for her lovely still photography and for providing a recording space
Our 133 Kickstarter backers who made this possible!
Last, but certainly not least, thanks to The Humboldt Redwoods Interpretive Association for their partnership with the Ensemble, and their stewardship of the trees.
