Has "life" replaced "God" in modern religious language? Don Cupitt suggests the sacred world of religion and the ordinary world of everyday human life now simply coincide. In this workshop he invites us to think through the implications of the full return of religious thought into this world and this life.

Don Cupitt is a Life Fellow and former Dean of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, England, and the author of more than forty books including Above Us Only Sky (2008), Impossible Loves (2007) and The Great Questions of Life (2006). He originally presented "A Theory of Religion" at the Westar Institute Fall 2003 Meeting.
