Emilienne Mukansoro, a genocide survivor and trauma counselor at IBUKA, shares her story. In 1994, her entire family was killed and she thought that she had lost everything. She started a new family with her husband and she believes that the only way to overcome her loss is to give back by helping other survivors overcome their trauma.
