So the clinical quality measures came to talk about those earlier that there’s the 3 items that you have to do that you don’t have a choice on which one is to pick. And then there’s going to be three from that back of the book that we went through earlier, we can pick 3 those that best fit your, your specialty or how your office works.

So we have asleep doctor in the last one and there was literally almost none other than that they could do so they’re going to be able to get out of those because not have them meet their specialty. So just know that if you are specialty and there’s nothing that really fits the clinical quality measures you can get out of those.
So basically what you’re gonna be doing is just reporting an information to the CMS or to the States.

Here are the 3 cores once, so the 3 core once in the system are ‘Hypertension’, preventive care and then here’s read that, ‘Tobacco Use Assessment’ comes into place so this is not just smoking but also chew and such, and then ‘Tobacco Cessation’. And the last one is gonna be ‘Adult Weight Screen and Follow-Ups’, so these are gonna be measured primarily through the health maintenance.
So In-help maintenance already has built-in items for let’s take Tobacco Use Assessment and Cessation, it has those in there already so there if you talk to a patient about quitting tobacco or work in tobacco habit they have you can click on those things and it will cross over to health maintenance and they’ll show that you provided them, you assess them and then you also did the intervention.
The other thing is with the adult weight screen if you put them on a scale and you did that in vitals that are also all automatically marked-off on the health maintenance screen.

And then in hypertension, if you put that patient, if you diagnose a patient with hypertension it’ll say automatically, “Do you want to put this patient on the health maintenance…for the health maintenance templates for hypertension?” and that’s how you gonna be able to, said discover if for the blood pressure management you can be a record that data through help maintenance.
So a lot of this information you can record through health maintenance and then once again go through those lists the 38 just to take a look at those to see which one is you gonna do so that’s one thing you can do right now, today and just prepare for those so that you can understand which things you’re going to be pulling in your system.

Because we have this clinical quality measures we’re going to have to have some sort of extraction tool to get that information out of our system. So this is a little bit different than that reporting user interface I showed this morning basically what this is, this is just for the clinical quality measures. What it’s gonna do is you’re gonna be able to put in what the type of the extraction is, the dates, because of course you have to put the dates in. You’re gonna name one to show where you want to extract that too. And then down here is really going to be able to put in the areas you want to extract the other information from so that’s gonna be from health maintenance, labs, vitals, whichever, you’re gonna be able to pull that out that system on through those things. So that’s the data extraction tool you’re gonna use.

Does anybody in PPRNet, right now? We got a couple. Wow! Yeah, more than I expected. PP…Is this a similar set-up to PPRNet, If you’re using PPRNet? That‘s kinda where we got the screen from so that’s kinda how it’s going to be working if you’re familiar with PPRNet.
