Laryngeal web consists of connecting membrane or tissue involving the free edge of true vocal folds. Mild web with minimal symptoms can be left alone. The more significant web causing change of voice or airway obstruction requires surgical intervention with a temporary keel insertion. Proton pump inhibitor is usually prescribed after surgery.
