The FDA Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) partners with other public health agencies to conduct research and pursue new research that drives tobacco regulatory action based on the best available science. The breadth of science FDA funds and supports is important for improving and protecting the public health.

In April 2014, FDA sat down with some of the researchers who are leading the next generation of tobacco regulatory research. Interviewees will tell you about the work they are doing, why it is important to public health, and why it is important to them personally.

The opinions in these videos reflect the views of these individual researchers, and not necessarily the official position of CTP. What’s more, these videos represent accurate information about the design of these CTP supported studies at the time the interviews were conducted.
