I took a trail along the Mississippi River that leads to a blind at the end of the trail. I lucked out, to find four American White Pelicans and a small group of Cormorants together on a rock crop. They were being very social together, bathing, sunning, foraging and preening. A couple Tugboats with their barges went by and made waves that caused the group to move to another area. They were great fun to watch
