RITMIX was created by Ulises Puiggrós 14 years ago. In 2003, after showing his work in 30 countries and determining that this class could be taught successfully anywhere in the world, he decided to disseminate it and prepare instructors for them to work with his technique.
RITMIX is a program with intervals made up by warm-up, 9 cardiovascular segments (tracks) and relaxation (stretching segment). There are different rhythms for each track (hip-hop, Latin, dance, funk, jazz, Arab), each with different intensities determined by the pace of the music and the amplitude and energy of the movements.
Cardiovascular work is pre-musicalized; this means that the end product and the methodology are preset. Choreographies are developed with simple movements, in such a way that the repetitions made for learning the movements lead to the success of the class.
RITMIX is an entertaining class; it is simple, very intense and has lots of rhythm. This class combines Fitness and dance.
Fitness contributes with an objective based on improving the physical capabilities of students.
Dance offers what Fitness cannot provide: expression through movement, novel and fun choreographies, and the possibility of discovering one's own body in the new movements that are proposed.
This "pre-musicalized" class is designed as a new alternative within choreographic work. After the module for the training of the OTs (Official Trainers), the program becomes more flexible and it is possible to make changes in the choreographies, always following the basis of Ritmix.
