A proposal to create 50,000 jobs and stop the exodus of Māori jobseekers from rural NZ to overseas has been put to the Government by the Iwi Leaders Group. But the group say the Government is ignoring them so this morning they presented their case to the United Nations in Wellington and are now planning to lodge a $600 million Treaty claim.
