Going on an overnight camping trip with just what you can carry on a bike seems scary to most people. This quirky, yet artful film debunks those fears, by pulling together strangers with different backgrounds to show how truly joyful and enriching travel by bike can be.
The film will be accompanied by a book that explains, in more granular detail, how anyone can use their bike as a portal to a world of adventure. Look for both the book and the film this June at theaters, bike shops and other venues worldwide. more at http://www.rollwithitmovie.com

Jules NeSmith – When you are riding through a place that has such unique and vast ecological diversity as the South, it’s great to have an expert along that know the environment. Jules has steeped academic background in ecology and although she commutes nearly everywhere on her bike, she is very new to overnight bike travel.
Alex Thompson – We wanted this film to have a score that was as original and inspirational as the trip itself. So, it totally made sense to bring the musician along! Alex is a man of many talents, including music, but cycling isn’t one of them. His bike experience consist of throwing a leg over a rusty cruiser and riding to the surfboard factory where he and his wife and make amazing boards with love and devotion. http://www.theshapesmusic.comhttp://www.ashleylloydsurfboards.com

As it so happens, Mai-Yan not only has a food blog http://www.dirtygourmet.com, but she has bike toured across North America in the past and brings some great experience.
Chris McNally – Illustration lets us show things that can’t be captured through a camera and ignites the imagination of this film.
