120 years to build a boat! Some might say, "It didn't take that long to launch the first Queen Elizabeth." The lesson is not about how long it took to build the ark; but, about Noah's faithfulness to preach for 120 years that the flood was coming when it had never rained. It illustrates that even though there has never been a Rapture, a time which our Savior will call every LIVING born-again person up to Heaven, there most assuredly will be. May I emphasize that the word "living" also includes all children up to the age of accountability; or, the age at which they are able to accept or reject the Gospel.
Heaven! Imagine! A place where sin does not exist. Since Romans 3:23 tells us we are all sinners, we need to look to the Savior who paid for all sin in Calvary's Cross and considered it a joy to do that for all mankind. Christ said in John 14:6, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:6) Don't be like the scoffers of long ago saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2 Peter 3:4) Dear Friend, don't be left behind. Accept Christ as your Savior today. The Rapture of the Church could happen at any moment and, if you do not know Christ as your Savior, there's not a moment to waste!
