Hey hey everyone, second post, went a bit heavier with this one. Also went a bit heavier with the editing. Let me know what you think :). Love system of a down, really can't wait to see them at download, and John Dolmayan is perfect live, his drum tracks on all 5 albums are perfectly fitting to the songs as well, just all round brilliant drummer.

Hey hey everyone, I'm Harry Cooper, I'm 17 and have been playing drums for about 6 years now. In the future I may do a more in depth thing on myself if people are interested :).

Behringer 1204USB http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/...

2 x Shure SM57 - 1 as central overhead (panned slightly left), 1 as close mic for the floor (panned hard to the right).

Shure SM58 - Used as a Bass Mic, I don't have a port, it's placed 1-2" away from the reso pointng at where the beater hits.
(borrowed of my friend Alex Elson, he created my intro screen, and my logo, and plays guitar, and plays the Ukelele and sings :), so check out his channel. NOW. http://www.youtube.com/user/SmellsonE...)

Audio Technica Pro 25 - Used as a snare mic and to get a bit more Hi-Hat in the mix, you can see where its placed better than I can explain in the side shots in my videos :).
(borrowed of my friend Scott Watson, awesome lead guitarist in the band, check us out, we do payed gigs and theres a few videos of us up on youtube :) http://www.youtube.com/user/blackmari...)

Any mixing/panning/EQing I do is on the Mixer mentioned above. Great little thing with a ton of features which I haven't come close to using yet :). I then compress the audio slightly in Audacity (awesome free audio software).

That's the sound you hear at the moment, at some point this is likely to change and so in future videos this is likely to be different but will update this description as and when needed.

The Kit:

If anyone wanted any more information of has any specific questions I'll be more than happy to help :).

Any questions about my kit or what I use to record I'm more than happy to answer and if I get a few subscribers I'll put a detailed description in each video.

They'll be many more videos coming out so please subscribe, and it would be great help if you come like and comment, also I'm taking requests for songs so let me know what you'd like to see.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
