Competition vs Cooperation:

For centuries, humanity has operated a model of economic competition that affects all levels of society. National Governments compete AGAINST each other for economic power and control of the world's resources. Corporate companies and businesses compete AGAINST each other to sell their products and services. And ultimately people end up competing AGAINST each other 'to get ahead' in the world.

'Competition' by its nature is 'aggressive'. It creates wars, distrust, acts of revenge, etc. It is a dog-eat-dog approach to life. Competition is a winner-loser approach to life. It's an approach that the wealthy, aggressive or powerful tend to favour because they are typically always 'the winners'.

Is there a wiser way where everyone can win and benefit?

'Cooperation' takes a different approach. It says, 'why don't we work together to achieve the goal so that we all benefit?'. Let's build an 'International Space Station' - together. Let's build a Hubble Telescope - together. Let's build an A380 jet - together.

Cooperation is shared responsibility, shared resources, shared time and energy. Life itself is based fundamentally on the law of cooperation. Every part of your body works in cooperation with all the other parts, to serve the needs of the entire body. In this way, they all win. How long would your body survive if your internal organs started to compete AGAINST each other?

Cooperation is a more intelligent approach than competition. Cooperation achieves the opposite of competition. It creates unity among people. It enhances trust and respect. It creates a win-win outcome.

Imagine a world where cooperation is integral in all areas of society - Governments work together. Scientists share their knowledge more openly. Doctors all have direct access to the latest research and medical developments. Society is based on integrated scientific development and cooperative sharing which benefits all people - not for profit - but to build a better world for all of us. That's real cooperation.

Wise people always cooperate and work together towards their common good. International society needs to progressively be transformed from a competitive system to a cooperative system.
