Under a radiant sky on Saturday, May 19, 627 bachelor degree candidates and 12 candidates for the master of arts in liberal studies were awarded diplomas at the new refurbished Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Honorary degrees were awarded to Terence Blanchard, jazz trumpeter, bandleader, composer, arranger, and multiple Grammy Award winner; Ron Chernow, American biographer whose books have won multiple awards, including the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award, and Suzanne Corbet Thomas '62, tireless Skidmore volunteer and chair of the Board of Trustees from 2002 to 2008.

Calder Wilson '11, winner of the College's CTM Video Contest the year he graduated and now a full-time videographer and photographer, returned to Saratoga Springs from his home in Florida to shoot this video. You'll find him on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/calderwilson
