Dear Friends, finally I have released my Manga tools DVD on my website.
Please check it out. http://www.jamjamcat.com

Watching a video is better then reading many books with still pictures.
Inking is motions, movements. Better learn it by watching motions.
Please check it out.

I hope you enjoy this video. Please support me by Click my video ad, and subscribe to My Channel.

This video provides instruction on how to modifying the maru penholder, and inserting a new nib.
Please visite my blog for more information on Dip Pen.

Note:No need to burn your new nib, u can wipe-off the oil with few drops of tea .

Let's modify it for easy grip.

You'll notice the difference, when you ink continuously.
Middle finger will painfully hurts, after hours of inking.
Watch out the Way your holding the pen for inking. Too much pressure will hurt your finger, especially at the top knuckle.

This pen-holder is best for maru pen, but just too thin for holding. I can't find any soft pencil-grip can fit into this thin size. So I always modify it myself.

Hope this video can help someone with same problem.

I did tried some Wooden and Plastic pen-holders, but this Tachikawa penholder is the best over all.
