Of all the opponents I've encountered in past three weeks or so, this one in particular I had very high hopes for. Why you ask? Simply because I've produced a team similar a while back and have always wanted the pleasure of battling one randomly. I certainly got my wish, but the end was not the way I imagined.

If you cannot tell from the first glimpse, you are looking directly at a unique Perish Trap team! I'm all too familiar with using the strategy myself and wanted nothing more than to test my opponents team and skill. Despite the fact that I knew what to expect, I was very much hoping for a not so familiar pattern in setting up, but the moment I saw Bronzong and Dewgong lead, it became apparent that Trick Room was the main focus...

Random wi-fi double battle: Lagoon Colosseum
Opponent used: Bronzong, Dewgong, Politoed and Wobbuffet
Tyler: Kangaskhan, Bannete, Mesprit and Octillery

Both Gothitelle and Chandelure would certainly bring chaos to Perish Trapping strategies or just trapping Pokemon in general. Its the reason why I've replaced Psychic for Imprison to prevent foes from using Protect allowing for both Eruption/Water Spout and Copycat to KO at the very least!
Your opponent had a really boring and very predictable team. On top of that they just disconnect when things don't go their way. I'm going to take a wild guess and say they just copied a team straight off of Smogon or something. Great job putting them in their place!
Wow, your Banette pulled the ultimate trump card. I had a Cursing Spiritomb once before my stuff was stolen. Didn't quite perform on Banette's level, but Curse scares trainers just enough. lol. Good game. Even though they rage-quitted, you had that game in the bag. =)
Man...not even Trapinch on the squad in case Wobuffet got defeated? On Trick Room, that's a NECESSITY... Great job dude. Allowing Trick Room would've actualy worked out against Dewgong! lol.
Ha ha! I guess the opponent got mad seeing Mesprit survive the explosion! Sad to see even creative players can be sore losers
Indeed. Then he could have had Sheer Cold as a last resort... dohohohoho
A while back my friend fought against a japanese player who used the Perish Song and Shadow Tag tactic and it backfired at him that he decided to give up and my friend had three pokemon left to make the japanese opponent player failed. Plus i got the video but very poor quality and lazy to post it up.
