Mother sentenced to 15 years in prison for baby's death

A woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and 20 years of probation. Dijanelle Fowler, 25, pleaded guilty to the death of her 1-year-old daughter, Skylar Fowler. Skylar died after nearly six hours alone in a car on June 15, 2017. Police said Fowler left the baby in there during a trip to a Lavista Road hair salon. Skylar's father, Louis Williams II, was stunned by the sentence.
