Footage of Herschel 36 (Paul Harrison/Stu Brown) performing their live score to the 1925 silent film, Wonder Der Schöpfung, at Outskirts Festival, Glasgow, in 2016.

The film is a ground-breaking German silent documentary which combines documentary, history, fiction, fantasy and animation and is an extraordinary document of human knowledge about the universe in the 1920s. It is beautifully tinted and toned and fifteen special effects experts and nine cameramen were involved in the production.

This new modern score was commission by Hippfest Festival of Silent Cinema in 2016 and toured the UK throughout that year. For further info and bookings visit www.Herschel36.com
