This is just a video of short tests I did in Unreal2004 to see if I could implement my game ideas into the engine.

vid 1: Library puzzle. The idea is the player has to shuffle bookcases around to reach a hidden cupboard behind one of them.

vid 2: Key pickup/unlock door. The idea is the player picks up a key and stores it in an inventory, then uses it to open a door. I had to find a way to do this in Unreal without coding.

vid 3: Damage trigger. The player has to damage a statue before the door will open.

vid 4: Checkpoint. Needed to create a checkpoint system so if the player died they didnt spawn at the beginning of the level again.

vid 5: Physics volume damage. When the player steps into the dark they take damage and must stay in the light to survive.

vid 6: Trigger emitter. The same idea as vid 5 but the emitter switches off as the player approaches.

vid 7: Level change. Needed to try different ways to trigger a level change
