My apologies for the Knights/Raptors mixup, honestly I was looking for another particular shirt but I couldn't find it so I went with that instead. No, I am not a student of Rutgers, I'm the target demographic for the merger - a student that was very high-achieving and chose to leave the state rather than go to an in-state school in New Jersey. I applied to at least 10 different schools and am now going to a university ranked in the top 25 of the nation. I did not apply to Rowan. If I had not gotten into where I'm going today, I would have gone to Rutgers and been happy with it, but even with a sibling that was at Rowan, even wanting to go into engineering and knowing their official ranking, I had no interest in going to Rowan.

Call me crazy but I would prefer having a lot of choices for education in South Jersey. I don't want less, and I certainly don't want anyone to feel that they're forced to go to a school they don't want to because they live in South Jersey and need to commute. I had the option to get out, but not everyone does and it's unfortunate to watch a power-hungry Governor take away other people' options. If anything, the fact that I don't go to RU-C should let you know that the opposition is spread beyond merely some angry students.
