I've decided to show some of the differences between the two types of vintage buttonholer attachments available. One is the Greist attachment that is used with a straight stitch setting, the other is the Singer zig-zag that must be used with your machine's zig-zag setting. Both create very nice holes, watch this video to help you decide which is right for your sewing room.
