This Ignite NYC took place in conjunction with the O'Reilly Strata Conference on Monday, October 22nd at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in the Metropolitan Ballroom. The theme stemmed from the conference's focus on data science and vizualization, with an focus on the wonder and mysteries that data science is stumbling into.

In this talk, Abe speaks about his experiences launching www.commitlogsfromlastnight.com, and the data he uncovered in his quest to find out how we can use the software engineer's profane tendencies to create better software.

Abe is a data engineer who works at Etsy. Previously at Chartbeat, he was a hackNY Fellow of 2011, and he recently graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy.
