The final day of the annual Banks BBQ, combine drivers will take to the speedway at Banks Sunset Park, each training their eyes on victory and the golden cylinder wrench, a glorified version of the tool used for reversing a combine's harvesting functions.

In four rounds of two to three minutes, groups of four combines ram, rip and smash into on another. In between, participants have a chance to perform repairs on their damaged combines. In the final heat, all combines that can still be operated are then included in that last battle. The last drivable combine emerges a winner and claims the golden cylinder wrench.

The Combine Demolition Derby in Banks Oregon can be fierce and friendly. All drivers follow a rule to try and avoid damaging things like the front tires, which can be very expensive.
