Congressman Nadler discusses the devastating effects on New York communities that could result from GOP obstruction on urgent fiscal matters. Appearing on The Ed Show with Reps. Peter Welch and Cedric Richmond, Rep. Nadler warns that the sequester could slash $878 million in Sandy aid, $10 million in support for the homeless, $75 million from the New York City Housing Authority, and $10 million in home heating. The inability of House Republicans to agree to a balanced plan to avoid sequestration would also devastate America's economy as a whole, threatening the loss of 1 million jobs.
