"Aha!" I muttered, after a few minutes of being on Cody's facebook page. "Already found one. He's going to perform at that one water park we used to go to. It's free when you pay to go into the water park." She shot me a disgusted look, bringing her head and neck back.
"I hate water parks. We're too old for that." I rolled my eyes. "no we're not? We're going. Besides, you could use a tan (lucky for me, I was mixed)'' "Ughh. Fine" she mumbled, looking at her arms to check if she was pale enough. "But when is it?" "this saturday. At 2:00 he's performing. Perfect."
Colleen's POV: "Finally done with stupid homework" I sighed, shoving the papers into my folder and sliding it and my social studies book into my backpack. Suddenly, my phone rang, my ringtone blurting out La Roux's bulletproof chorus.
"House residence Colleen speaking" I said intelligantly. I heard a chuckle coming from the other line. "It's Cody." Oh gosh.
"Oh, hi Cody." I said; my voice cracked when in the middle of me saying Cody... stupid puperty. "Um... we're in the newspaper. Thanks a lot for not warning me about hidden paparazzi."
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean for that to happen. Just ignore it. They won't right about it anymore.... I think." "You think?!?" I said, worried. He sighed, hesitating to answer, as if I had given him such a hard question."
"Don't worry. It happens to lots of people." Liar. How could you lie like that. I know you're lying. That only happened like five times. Ugh.
"Why did you call?" I changed the subject, before I would start anything bad. I wasn't in the mood for an arguement.
''Well um... i'm performing at whipsplash (lol that's the first thing that came to my mind for a waterpark name) on saturday. Wanna go?" Oi, blonde moment for him. "Cody... paparazzi... newspaper... me... you... people... thinking wer're dating..." "Trust me on this. I got a plan. It's small, but good." I raised my eyebrows. I don't think I can trust him with a 'plan' unless he told me what it was. "What's the plan?" I asked. "It's a surprise. Let's just say you're going to be flattered.'' "Umm... ok... I'm going to call Amanda and ask if she can come."
"Kayyyy. Bye bye Blondie." I giggled, saying my goodbye, and hung up.
Amanda's POV: I was in the middle of doing social studies homework and chewing a mouthful of pringles until I heard my phone ring. I eagerly answered, seeing that the incoming call was from colleen.
"What's up girlie" I said, not really caring that I was talking with my mouth full. I could tell she was disgusted and confused as she began to speak.
"Um... nothing... I'm going to whipsplash on saturday to watch Cody perform. Are you off grounding yet?" Dammit. Why did he have to be around when I couldn't go anywhere?
"I'm still grounded. And I couldn't anyway... saturday I have to go to work with my mom. It's bring your son or daughter to work day." I heard depression instead now. "oh. That really sucks... guess i'll go on my own (amanda was literally her only friend. They weren't very popular)" "Sorry hon. Talk to you later?" I said apologetically. "Yea... bye.''
