Virginia Alone is a look into the mind of Virginia Blakeley a blind lady living alone for 20 years in a remote farm house in Canada. During this time she recorded hundreds of cassette tapes chronicling a variety of things including her lifelong struggle against Schizophrenia. I have incorporated her tapes with interviews I conducted at a nursing home to piece together elements of her life. It will open at the Santa Fe New Media Festival as well as on Immersiva in the virtual world of Second Life starting June 22nd 2012.
