http://www.thinklikeahorse.org/index.... Hobble training your horse can help the horse understand and handle having their feet restricted. This is an advanced type of sacking out technique. It can save and help a horse so they will not hurt them self if they get caught up in wire, fencing or other things.
Horses work on pressure and release of pressure, in our domesticated world horses have to learn how to deal with many pressures such as being trapped in a stall or trapped in a trailer or having a saddle strapped down on their back, this is just another form of pressure that will help a horse learn.
Too many people think avoiding pressure and protecting the horse from pressure is helping the horse, it is the opposite, exposing a horse to ALL types of pressures will help the horse learn to accept pressure and not panic or react to pressure in a way that can hurt them.
