Known simply as Lilias, Folan introduced yoga to millions of television viewers 30 years ago. Though the slim, supple body has become middle-aged and the familiar, long braid has been replaced with short curls, her gentle, patient, and clear instruction remains the same, and she is even more inspiring. Her style is inviting because she doesn't show off her flexibility or demand that you get into impossible postures. She starts where you are, explaining how to get into a posture (modified is fine), how to tell if you're doing it right, what your body should feel and look like as you do it, and what's happening in your body. Whether you first experienced yoga decades ago with Lilias or you're discovering it now, she is warm and welcoming, and her instructions are exceptionally clear and simple.
