My 3rd time ever doing any kind of 3D flight. The helicopter is an E-Flite Blade SR. It's completely stock with the exception of the blades, which are carbon fiber CP Pro blades. The flybar weights have also been removed. I'm using a Spektrum DX7 radio. The tail is bouncing pretty bad in this video - I think it's most likely because my blades were pretty badly unbalanced, which caused a serious vibration, which I'm pretty sure is what was screwing with the gyro. I do several forward flips - a couple were pretty clean, most were ugly, though I somehow managed to not crash. Tried one backwards flip which was REALLY ugly - not sure what went wrong there. Also did a few stationary aileron rolls - one wasn't bad, the others were pretty ugly, but again, I managed to pull them off without crashing. I'm going to keep tweaking my swash mix to see if I can get a better roll rate. At this point, I'm just stoked that I'm able to do coordinated turns, nose-in flght and hover and even a little 3D. Not bad considering I just started flying collective pitch helis about 3 months ago. I've spent a LOT of time on the simulator, though. Between RealFlight G.4.5 and Phoenix 2.5, I probably have well over 100 hours in over the past year and a half.
