"REGGAE ANTHOLOGY" is a two-part radio show originally produced for Global Rock Radio for KPFZ, Lucerne -- California, June 5, 2002. The show was produced at Ed Robinson's Tiftam Recordings (now Etwo Recordings) in Brooklyn - NYC. The mission of "REGGAE ANTHOLOGY" is to outline the evolution of Jamaican muzik to its current "Reggae" status. Every other genre or sub-genre falls under the umbrella of "Reggae" in Jamaica. Pocomania (could not find vintage Poco muzik), Mento, Nyabingy, Ska and Rocksteady were featured to show the path leading up to the "REGGAE" marquee. The KPFZ show was reedited as Audiovisuals for Youtube. "Text factoid" and "zingers" were added. This Pocomania and Mento clip is part 1 & 2 of 5 segments. Check out the Nyabingy, Ska and Rocksteady segments.
