How to fabricate and use The SuperNet(TM):
1) Drape a 4' wide Tenax Home Fence, or similar, over the roof. Cut it off so that it drapes 6-24 inches over the edge of the roof or the gutter on both sides. Attach two weather resistant (nylon, polypropylene, etc.) ropes to each end of the fence so that you can stand far enough away from the building that snow or ice will not fall on you.
2) Lift, snap or shake the ropes to loosen the snow so it slides down the fence and off it. Or see saw the fence with someone on the other side. Or secure the ropes on one side so you can't completely pull the fence off the roof from the other side. Then go to the other side and pull the fence part way off the roof letting the snow fall off it. Repeat from the other side.
3) The fence tends to melt into existing snow and so can be used to remove existing snow layer at a time.
4) I have a pending patent for The SuperNetâ„¢, which is specifically designed for snow and leaves removal.
