I am very much thankful and overwhelmed by the response this video has brought about. Let me just make it clear that I don't have anything against men, nor am I a feminist. I have been a victim of abuse and I know first hand how fear can silence the truth. I believe in equality and I understand the sentiments of the men who have watched this, and I do agree that we have to end all kinds of violence. But, this is a special kind of movement especially for the women in my country who are still driven by fear. This is made especially for them, in order to give them the courage to speak out. We have a different kind of culture when it comes to dealing with this issue, it is even regarded as taboo because marriage is very sacred in our country that we don't even have divorce. I respect all kinds of movement and advocacy, I hope someone will also have the courage to give voice to the men who experience violence.

It starts with a shove, a push, a slap then a punch. A man will always say that he will never hit a girl but when he does, he would blame it on you, and you somehow agree to him and start blaming yourself too. Nothing, there is not a single reason in this world that makes it ok for a man to hit a girl. It is never your fault. Walk away. JUST WALK AWAY. LEAVE HIM. It's hard, it will hurt coz ure inlove with the guy. But once he hits u, he'll as sure as hell do it again. WALK AWAY. No bruise is worth the love, no wound, no broken bone, no blood is worth fighting for. Love is not suppose to hurt. VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN ANY FORM IS A CRIME! Be it verbal or physical assault. The moment he insults u, calls u names, or make u feel any less of urself, THAT'S ABUSE. You're being emotionally beaten. No woman, no girl, no wife, no partner, no girlfriend should EVER, EVER put up with that.
