I wrote this song when I was 14 years old. I was playing it this night and I just felt like recording it, so I did. I know I'm wearing my pajamas, but it just adds to the song I think, because it's a lullaby.
I put a little reverb to it, for those wondering.
The song is about someone who saved the life of an angel. I'm singing from the perspective of the angel. The one who saved the angel (from drowning) is allowed to make a wish, but he can't tell it to anybody because the identity of the angels should stay a secret. I got inspired by the wishes people make when they e.g. see a falling star or throw a coin in the water. If you tell someone, it won't come true. Wish, and it will come true.
Chorus: You saved me, you made me feel alright You saved me, you made me feel alive And now, yeah now, you can make a wish
Verse: Don't tell it to anybody I'm the only one who knows If you tell it to everybody It won't come true
