Opening (and closing) an 8 panel, 22 move puzzle box (not 26 as described at first). Excuse the naff commentary, I didn't realise the mic was on! I'll edit it out when I get the time.

To answer some of the recurring comments:-

"Is this the same as the one on Big Bang Theory?" No. This one is harder!

"Where can I get one?" Japan? Seriously, the best manufacturers are still based in the Old Country. Cleverwood is a US company that deals in wooden puzzles and ships worldwide. You can also pick up the occasional gem (like this) on Ebay.

A "sun" is a Japanese unit of measurement = about 1.25 inches or 3cm. The number of sun tells you how big the box is. This one is 6 sun.

"Panels" is the number of external moving parts such as a sliding panel or a piece that pushes in or pivots.

"Moves" is the number of times you have to shift the panels before the box will open. One panel may move several times and in different ways at different points in the opening sequence.

"Smashing with a hammer" remarks. I take these in the clearly humorous spirit in which they're intended so please don't take offense on my behalf. I moderate comments anyway so any that upset me just don't get through :) Sorry but this also goes for comments in any language I don't understand as I don't know if they're offensive/spam/illegal or not. Having said that, they're getting a bit repetitive now so I won't be letting any more through unless they're a bit more creative.
