Butterfly crosses my path
i didnt ask for that
i follow cause i can
i am just a man
i do things like that
colors and hues, yellows and blues
leading me on, through
forest of green, gardens unseen
where have we come to
this is not where i belong

this is my downfall
i had it all

now Im wandering astray

this is my down fall
not supposed to go this way
this is my downfall
someone stop me
someone take away my sight
this is my downfall
please save me from
the butterfly

fluttering silently on
she glides like a song
lands on a bed she made
moon light starts to fade
when her flower has gone

she lifts to expose
where the wind flows
pushing her higrer
delicate form, tender and warm
dances like fire
this is not where i belong

i should go, i should say no,
but Im so far gone
i know im taken,
why am i mistaking
my right from wrong
nectar on her lips
all i want is this
and she knows
we she goes where nobody can see, this tragedy
i betray the one i love
