Home-made shotgun slugs!
These load were built with the Lee 7/8 ounce mold using pure lead, Winchester AA shells, Winchester WAA12 wads, Winchester 209 primers, and 37 grains of Hodgdon HS6 powder.
You can also dump the shot out of a factory 1oz shot shell and replace it with the cast slug. Problem with that would be the potential for having the slug come loose and falling part way down the bore which could very well turn the barrel into a pipe bomb. This is also a very big concern for guys who make their own wax slugs!
