Videography Course in Singapore!

2 useful techniques to make your video look more professional, the cut-in shot and the cutaway shot.

Simple Definition:
A cut-in shot is a close-up shot of something visible in the main scene.
A cutaway shot is a shot AWAY from the main scene.

Example:
Watch the video for a demonstration of cut-in and cutaway shots.

Videography Tip:
When shooting a video, capture as many cut-in and cutaway shots as you can. When editing the video, inter-cut the main scene with the cut-ins and cutaways every 3 to 7 seconds. This will make your video more engaging and look more professional.
