The right ventricular inflow tract includes the sub-valvular apparatus of the tricuspid valve including the papillary muscles and base of the right ventricular chamber. This is where blood enters the right ventricle from the right atrium and allows for proper closure of the tricuspid valve upon ventricular contractions.
