This flight test was conducted to check the nose gear door open spring on a Falco. The linkage on # 19 is custom built. I think it may be better than stock when I get it perfected. The test was to determine if the springs were strong enough to offset the aerodynamic pressure on the open doors. All possible angles were flown to verify. From this test I concluded I needed to either strengthen or add another spring to the system or ad an "open" latch to keep the doors from chattering in the wind or possibly departing the airplane and or going closed and preventing the nose gear from closing. I would like to here from you if you have quesitions or comments.
