Transgender Europe's Trans Murder Monitoring Project reports that at least 226 people lost their lives to anti-transgender hate violence this year. Tragically, countless more victims remain unaccounted for because of misgendering and ignorance.

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) honors the lives lost to anti-transgender hate violence and raises awareness around the staggering rates of brutality trans people face every day.

GLAAD is honored to pay tribute to the lives lost and celebrate the lives lived.
