At Bowtie Cinema, 542 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT

On Thursday, March 10th, the Westport Youth Film Festival, a program of the Westport Arts Center, will host a special advanced screening of the Focus Features film, Jane Eyre — a movie version of Charlotte Brontë's classic novel. Following the screening, there will be a special Q & A with the film's director, Cary Fukunaga!

Jane Eyre stars actors Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland), Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Bastards), Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) and Judi Dench (Shakespeare in Love), Jane Eyre promises to be one of the most exciting film releases of the spring, and now Fairfield County residents have the exclusive opportunity to see the film before anyone else.

This advanced screening of Jane Eyre is WYFF's biggest fundraiser of the season.

About the Film:
Set in 19th century England, the movie chronicles the story of orphan Jane Eyre, who suffers an unhappy childhood, and then leaves school to take the position of governess at a country estate called Thornfield. At Thornfield, Jane falls in love with her cynical employer, Mr. Rochester. Just when Jane seems to find love at last, we learn the Rochester has a dark secret, and Jane is forced to make a choice: accept Rochester and his secret, or compromise her love to preserve her integrity.

WYFF would like to thank Bowtie Cinema for donating the use of their theater for the event.
