This documentary on transsexuality was made as a part of a student project for a film school, XIC, in Mumbai. The film looks at transsexuality from various perspectives - medical, psychological, legal, social as well as personal. It also tries to delve into the minds of India's hijra community. One of the students on this project was a pre-op transperson herself. This film became a coming out vehicle for her, and was a milestone in her life, for after this, she decided to go for sex reassignment and chose to live her life the way it should have been. Today, she is Gazal Dhaliwal. [Her blog - http://gazalhopes.blogspot.com]
